Our Mission

DCI Outreach’s mission is to bring hope to our community by being the hands and feet of Jesus. We are committed to meeting the needs of families, children and the homeless that are affected by hunger and poverty within our surrounding community, utilizing several events throughout the year to assist in addressing their needs. We are dedicated to restoring hope and maintaining the self-esteem of all the people we serve.

Our Vision

Our future goal is to have a Community Resource Center, where we can meet the needs of families that are struggling and/or wanting to make a difference in their lives. We want to provide hope and resources for those without essentials, provide after school programs, empower families, children, men, and women to transform and thrive into a better future.

Outreach Opportunities

Here are the current outreach opportunites we have available:

Hope for the Homeless

DCI gets the opportunity to get together to complete bags and prepare meals for people who don't have as much as others.

Hope for the homeless volunteers prepare a meal that will be served on the following Sunday and assemble 1500+ HOPE bags containing items needed by the homeless for their daily subsistence.

Each bag containts the following:

Toiletries: Toothpaste, toothbrush, body wash and deodorant.

First Aid Kit: Band aids, antiseptic ointment, q-tips, sunscreen and lip balm.

Food: Snack packs containing 4 to 5 various food items.

Emergency Survival Blanket: These blankets are crucial to help keep them warm in the cold months and protect them from the heat in the warmer times.

St. Vincent's de Paul Food Bank

Distribute food at a Drive-thru Farmer's Market

Help fill our neighbors pantries by loading boxes of food directly into their cars at SVdP's Farmer's Market -- a drive thru opportunity for anyone in the communtiy to stop by and get the food and groceries they need.

Feed My Starving Children

FMSC offers volunteers a one-of-a-kind experience. You’ll hand-pack rice, soy, dried vegetables and a nutritionally complete blend of vitamins and minerals into bags which are then sealed, boxed, placed on pallets and shipped to our incredible partners working hard to reach the neediest children around the world.

Through volunteering at FMSC, you’ll get the chance to impact hundreds of kids in just two hours per packing shift. You’ll experience what it’s like to make a tangible difference today.

DCI Community Outreach Events

Every year DCI Outreach puts on amazing events for the community. From Easter to our Harvest festival. Our goal is to give familes the chance to have something that they normally don't get to have. We love to see the smile on the kids faces as well as the reaction of their family members.

We can't wait for you to be a part of these events!

Christmas Toy Drive

This Christmas, DCI is going to be collecting toys. There are plenty of kids who don't get to experience the fun of a new toy and we want them to experience just that. We want to see the joy on there faces when they open up a present. More details to come.
